CELESTE AND JESSE FOREVER
|
Entertainment Weekly talked with the cast and crew of Celeste and Jesse Forever at the Sundance Film Festival. Only, Eric wasn't there!
There’s a trend in rom-coms to take the phrase “happily ever after” and add a question mark to the end. With Celeste and Jesse Forever, star and co-writer Rashida Jones debuted the latest installment in this burgeoning sub-genre Friday night at the Sundance Film Festival.
The movie, which premiered to a packed 1,200-seat theater well-populated by studio scouts, starts with a longtime couple who seem to be leading that fairy tale existence, only … not really. The title characters, played by Jones (Parks and Recreation) and SNL‘s Andy Samberg have been together since they were in high school, seem to communicate mainly through the code of various in-jokes, and disgust all their friends by how cute they act.
Only trouble is, they’ve been “separated” for months — but somehow are getting along better than ever since they decided to get divorced. Just because they won’t be married anymore, they reason, doesn’t mean they can’t still be pals. [read more at EW.com] |
There are also two videos over at EW.com, again, without Eric. The only footage they show is of a scene with Rashida Jones and Emma Roberts. |
Added another batch of Fired Up screencaps! We now have a total of 554 caps in the gallery. Enjoy!

KENSI AND DEEKS ARE GETTING [SPOILER]ED
|
From TVLine.com:
Viewers of CBS' NCIS: Los Angeles who have longed to see Kensi and Deeks take their “thing” to the next level will get a whole lot more than they bargained for when the partners in crime-solving become the ultimate kind of partners — husband and wife– in an episode airing later this season.
“There’s a Kensi/Deeks episode where they go undercover as a married couple in suburbia — and it is hilarious,” NCIS: LA showrunner Shane Brennan promises TVLine.
If only to further tease “Densi” fans, Brennan adds, “Everything you wish for when want characters to get together, we put in this episode.”
Now mind you, Brennan never specified that the NCIS agents are posing as a blissful bride and groom. “They’ll be throwing things at each other…,” Brennan shares, laughing. “It is so much fun." |

REVIEW OF NCIS: LA EP "EXIT STRATEGY"
|
Hey guys! Diane posted a review of last night's episode "Exit Strategy" (#3.13) over at the FORUM! Thanks Di! Check out the preview below.
"Last week’s episode, The Watchers is definitely a tough act to follow with such great writing and action sequences. When I heard they were going to do a follow-up to Betrayal, I thought it would be a good idea to take a look back at that episode which first aired back in November, 2011. Written by Frank Military and directed by Karen Gaviola it was an emotionally explosive show that had a lot of fans wondering more about Sam’s private live and how he was able to combine that life with the dangers of being an NCIS agent. Sam returns to the Sudan to track down missing CIA agent Michael Saleh.
The opening scene in Ops is anxiety-ridden as the NCIS team fears that Sam may be the third body found in a field outside of Cartum. Callen’s hesitancy to peel back the body shroud and his relief that it’s not Sam underneath is one of the more heartbreaking scenes filmed this year. It’s also a joy to watch the characters respond in relief when Callen first spots Sam on the streets to let them know he is alive and well." |
